Base Habits Coaching Phase 2 Intro

Phase 2

Section 1

Where You're At

Two weeks down, and you already proved you can keep a habit.

You made it through Phase 1. If you can do those two weeks, you can keep going. You locked in the Base Habits: weighing yourself every day, tracking your food, getting your steps in. That's the baseline every client starts with, because it works whether or not the rest of your life is dialed in.

Phase 2 doesn't replace that baseline. It builds on it.

Section 2

What is Phase 2?

Phase 2 adds more activity and movement to improve your metabolism and strength.

Phase 1 was about building the habits: tracking your weight, understanding your calories, moving daily. Phase 2 adds more activity and movement on top of that, to start improving your metabolism and building strength.

What that looks like depends on whether training in a gym is part of your plan.

Choosing Your Path

The fork in the road.

From here, coaching splits into two directions.

Gym Path

Structured training added on top of what you're already doing. Covers movement fundamentals, terminology, and technique broken down by movement pattern.

Non-Gym Path

Continuing to build the other 23 hours without adding gym work. Coaching stays focused on the habits already in place: calorie tracking, daily movement, sleep, consistency. The goal is making those sustainable for the long term, not adding structured training on top of them. If priorities change later, moving to the Gym Path is always an option.

My rule is simple: the path you pick should match your life right now, not the life you think you should have. Here's why:

  • A gym plan you skip isn't a gym plan.
  • Consistency beats intensity every time.
  • You can switch paths later. Nothing here is permanent.
